Le Pompe Attack
On Saturday, April 4th, La Pompe Attack, featuring guitarist and singer Doug Munro, will play at Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT)’s Music in the Box series.
La Pompe Attack concerts for the 2026 season focus on celebrating the musical legacy of Belgian-born jazz guitarist and composer Django Reinhardt (1910–1953) and The Great American Songbook. Two-time Grammy-nominated Munro presents an exciting, updated interpretation of the hot swing sound of Reinhardt coupled with his own unique and entertaining style of playing and singing.
Box Spring 2026
On two consecutive weekends, April 17-19 and April 24-26, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) in Ossining will present Box Spring 2026: A Festival of One-Act Plays. Six highly engaging, never-seen-before comedic and dramatic plays written, directed and performed by local talent,

The Last Flapper

On Saturday March 21, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) and RJD Productions present The Last Flapper, a one-woman show written by William Luce, starring Tina D’Amato and directed by R. J. D’Amato. The play reveals the true story behind the myths surrounding Zelda Fitzgerald, wife of The Great Gatsby author F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Mala Waldron Quartet
On Saturday, March 7 the Mala Waldron Quartet, a group of internationally acclaimed jazz virtuosos headed by jazz vocalist/pianist/composer Waldron accompanied by her top-flight backup group, will make an annual local appearance in Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT)’s Music in the Box Series. Waldron will perform a sophisticated blend of soulful jazz together with Steve Salerno on guitar, Michael T.A. Thompson on drums, and Marcus McLaurine on bass at WCT’s black box performance space, 23 Water St. in Ossining.
Called “the artist to watch” (Jazzdagama), Waldron has been cheered by numerous critics: she “interprets lyrics and scats with authority” (All About Jazz); “combines the best of the soul and jazz world" (Jazz-Not-Jazz.com); and "... traverses the jazz terrain, from straight ahead to more experimental fare, with ease, inspiration and inventiveness..." (Jazz Review). Soul Express (UK) labelled her brand "Sophisticated Soul-Jazz at its best!" Her Always There release was named one of the top 10 jazz CDs of 2006 by Jazz USA.
Following in the footsteps of her father, famed pianist Mal Waldron, Mala has performed worldwide including appearances in France, Italy, China, Russia and Japan. She’s been featured at such prestigious U.S. venues as the Iridium Jazz Club, BAM Café, Jazz Standard, Birdland, 55 Bar, Minton’s Playhouse, and Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola for the Women in Jazz Festival. Waldron is praised for her impressive pianistic skills, her soulful smoky vocals as well as for her original compositions and unique arrangements of jazz standards and popular classics.

Whether you’re new to improv or looking to sharpen your skills, this class series welcomes you where you are. Through long-form improv games and exercises, students develop active listening and agreement, build trust with scene partners, play authentically and intelligently within reality, and grow confidence on stage. The course includes a class performance, where students can invite friends and family to watch their progress, and will be part of an evening of long-form improv featuring professional improv groups from NYC.
Tamra Malaga has performed and taught long-form improv nationally for 27 years. She trained at William Esper Studios (NYC) and Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre (NYC) , with mentors Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh and Ian Roberts as well as Second City (LA/CHI) and Improv Olympic (CHI).
Eddie Allen Quartet
On Saturday, February 21 at 7:30 pm, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) will continue its highly touted Music in the Box series with the Eddie Allen Quartet, a well-respected jazz combo with a wealth of performance experience. Joining Allen on trumpet will be Oscar Perez on keyboard, Gregory Jones on acoustic bass and Jerome Jennings on drums. The group will play at WCT’s Black Box, 23 Water St. in Ossining, NY. Trumpeter, composer, arranger, author, educator, Allen is known as a versatile musician on the New York scene. He has worked with such musical legends as Art Blakey & the Jazz Messengers, Bette Midler, Etta Jones & Houston Person, Aretha Franklin, Randy Weston, John Mayer, Henry Threadgill, Gladys Knight, Gloria Gaynor, Benny Carter, T.S. Monk and Kool & the Gang. Allen has performed in the orchestras of such Broadway hits as Ain’t Misbehavin’, Black & Blue, Side Show, Jelly’s Last Jam, Five Guys Named Mo’, The Color Purple and Rollin’ On the T.O.B.A. He is the author of the instructional method book, An Introduction to The Bb Concert Blues (Charles Colin Publishing - N.Y.C.). Allen currently leads a jazz quartet, a jazz quintet, an Afro-Cuban/Brazilian septet called Salongo, a jazz septet named Push, and a 16-piece big band, the Eddie Allen Aggregation.

Students can hone their on-camera audition skills in this 8-week course designed to give actors a chance to work on TV and film scenes with a professional studio set up, including camera, lights, microphone, and a backdrop. The Body Gives Voice to Peace is a gentle, inclusive meditation and somatic practice for actors and creatives that builds presence, grounding and embodied creativity- supporting deep character connection while teaching artists how to safely release the work and care for themselves. Jessica W. Bonds is an actress, psychotherapist and meditation facilitator with over 20 years of experience supporting embodied presence and emotional regulation. She integrates somatic practices, sound and breath to help actors and creatives access their work with clarity, safety and depth.

This class is suitable for all levels as it will address each student’s needs individually. Every class will begin with a relaxation exercise, move into sensory work and/or Uta Hagen object exercises, followed by working on scenes from published plays. Students are free to work on characters/plays that they are most interested in or would feel positively challenged by. Susan Ward, a member of Actors Equity Association, holds a BFA in musical theater from Florida State University. She has appeared on stage, film, and in local commercials in Florida and New York and is an award-winning playwright and directs plays locally.
