A Short Walk Into Sunshine is the story of KC, a seriously mentally ill 39 year old man who is being given a last chance by his sister Sarah to get his life together after almost 20 years of being in and out of psychiatric hospitals. KC reluctantly goes to the clinic where he meets Peaches, a young woman who gets involved with him because of her need to be loved. Sarah must also contend with her ex-husband Max who is trying again after having failed at several business ventures.
A Short Walk Into Sunshine is about last chances for its characters and their struggles to overcome the past.
