THAT'S NOT ALL SHE WROTE III
Celebrating the Work of Women Playwrights
Celebrating the Work of Women Playwrights
Fri. July 26 @ 8 pm
Sat. July 27 @2&8 pm
Sun. July 28 @ 3 pm
That’s (Not) All She Wrote III will showcase a collection of plays and monologues written and performed by seven local women playwrights and WCT members. This year, the pieces revolve around the theme of “heARTbeat,” encompassing all from the familiar association of the heart as the core of love/passion to multiple other guises. The writers will read from their own work in a specially created salon-like setting with audiences seated around the space cabaret-style to provide a more immersive, participatory experience.
WCT writer/actor/director Carol Mark is directing the production and WCT writer/actor/ director/producer Lori Myers is the executive producer.
The playwrights and their plays and excerpts are:
Barbara Bennion, Eyes on Me
Jessica Bonds, Kindling
Joni Fritz, Fertility Rites and Independence Day
Brenda Hettmansberger, Meet Me at the Riverside
Evelyn Mertens, excerpts from Mother Love, Never Wild and That Way
Loretta Oleck, Window at Nir Oz Kibbutz
and Kathryn Rossetter, Please Marry My Dad and Heart of the Matter.
Talkbacks follow each performance.
